Ok, so Wednesday was a boring day. A good day, but nothing worth blogging over really. Instead I'd like to blog today about feelings. Yes, thats right, good 'ole mushy feelings.
Why feeling you ask? Well because I'm having mixed feelings about college. I both love and hate it. I love the fact that its new and exciting (wow this is sounding way too cheesy) and that I have more freedom per say. Also I love two of my classes, Amer. Media & English, and the stoop is tremendously fun. Pointless entertainment, but fun none the less. I hate it because, well for 1 I don't have a job hence no money and I feel like an a-hole having to get money from my parents (sorry mother I know your reading and I half cussed, but just to reiterate on what I was saying before, I really feel bad about getting money from y'all). I also hate that its hard to find genuinely good people. Yes I have met a lot of people and were 'friends' and there cool. It's just hard to find people with the same values and beliefs as me. I really need to find a good church. Another thing I love is that I'm so close to Nashville. Though with my present money problem, it does me no good.
Anyway, that's enough feelings talk for now. I'm on my way to check my P.O. box, get a few things from the mini-mart on campus and then head to my favorite class. See, maybe today is going to get better! (fingers crossed)
So long interwebs!

Days 11 & 12 9/7 & 9/8 /09
Hello there interwebs. I apologize for my failure today. Not that I have a bunch of people reading this, I wish I did, but still I'm sorry guys. So I'm just going to post 2 days in this one post. Good thing monday was rather uneventful. To be honest most days are. Well at least they aren't blog worthy I guess, but never the less I am writing one everyday. I promise these will be more entertaining when I get my flip and it becomes a vlog. Anyway, on with the blog!
:Monday 9/7/09:
Oh Monday, what a pointless day. It was labor day, and no one was doing much of anything. A lot of people were getting back from being at home during the long weekend. So it didn't feel like we ruled the place anymore. Seriously guys, over the weekend it seemed like the only people on campus were us, The Stoop Krewe. So anyway, I did get by pacsun around 5 for the Saosin listening party thing and to return a shirt. I didn't stay the whole time though. I felt kind of bad about that because the manager had invited me and told me about it and I told her I would be there. I mean I was there, I just didn't stay. Oh well. I pretty much stayed at the stoop the rest of the day. I did do some reading, and at one point we all went up to the portal to watch Kung Pow, weird movie. So that's Monday for you.
:Tuesday 9/8/09:
That's today! well yesterday technically. I still haven't gone to bed yet. So, Dustin's stupid freaking alarm woke me up at 8AM. Grr. I went to the KUC to get some chickfila breakfast. I was apparently so tired that I incorrectly ordered. I wanted three mini's, but instead I ordered three hashbrowns for some reason. Out of it much? Oh, another thing about chickfila, I thought the one in Snellville was terrible, but this one, gah, its awful. Not that they don't get your order right, but I swear like everytime I'm there they have the worst attitude and it makes me not want to go back. I mean when you don't even pay any attention to the fact that you have a customer standing right in front of you trying to get your attention and order, its just plain rude.
So then I went to my first class. Which for some reason I thought was at 9:10, when it was clearly at 9:40. Even then though there was no one in the room and I just left. I went back to the dorm, started to read, and fell asleep until Dustin came back hyper as crap and kept on talking to me and yelling. Gah! And then when I went to my next class he took a nap. Wtf? Don't you hate that?
So yeah, I did other junk today, but thats really all that was very interesting. Ok, its not that interesting, I'm sorry. I'm trying here people.
Goodnight Internet.

Day 10 9/6/09 -Stoop Mobilize.
So this is probably the latest I have blogged ever, but no worries I still haven't missed a day.
Anyway, Sunday was fun. not much happened until later at night since no one was up till after 2. We managed to fit 15 people into Dustin and I's room. It was ridiculous. After watching a movie up there we mobilized to shell. On the way Jared had this bright idea:
We got back from shell and started playing with this girls volleyball. Long story short James ended up on the roof to retrieve it. I don't have that video, but I do have Jacob's failed attempt.
And then Jared's Failed attempt.
And I actually just found the first half of James' success.
Oh yeah, and here's the Portal:

Day 9 9/5/09 -1 Week Mark
So I've been at MTSU for a week now. RECAP! No, no recap, if you want a recap you can go read the lower posts. Savvy? Good. Now then, lets talk about Saturday.
Well, being as how I didn't arise from my slumber until 2, there really isn't much to say. (Are y'all getting tired of hearing me say that? I feel like I'm making excuses as to the reasons why my blogs are short. Whatever.) I finally ate some healthy food, kind of. I had a few pieces of pizza followed by some salad. Baby steps guys, baby steps. Moving on, I ran by the bank to check my account balance. I figured I had at least a hundred or so left from textbooks, but no, behold the ATM screen read $20.86, or something like that. I know it was 20 something. So my venture out was a waste. All I wanted were some bins and a rug for my dorm. Oh well. So I came back, chilled w/ the stoopers for the rest of the night, and that was that.
Goodbye Internets.
oh yeah, here is that clip of that guy I mentioned before.

Day 8 9/4/09 -Stoopin it for hours
Hello Internets
So apparently weekends here are pretty much dead. Everyone that doesn't live forever away goes home. It is way to quite on campus. To make it worse a lot of the better dining halls are closed for labor day weekend.
So yesterday, being that I am writing a day late as usual, was pretty chill. I bought my last three books and sat on the stoop for hours. Very uneventful, but very entertaining. We actually had a retired marine stop by and play some of his songs for like an hour. He was pretty good. Nothing to special, but it was good music. I'm going to put a short video clip I took of him at the end. Oh yeah, me and Dustin made a trip to the mall. He wanted shirts. We also got some cool lights at Spencer's though, and hopefully our room will be better than 'The Portal' eventually. Oh, and there was this cool girl working in pacsun that we met and we're going back monday for a 'listening party'. They are playing the new Saosin album a day before it's released, and Saosin might be there to play an acoustic song. Doubtful though.
So yeah, thats about it. I'm sorry if these blogs have been boring and uneventful of late, but they should pick up. Especially when I get a flip and they will become Vlogs. I'm currently watching one on ebay and its only at 50 right now, so hopefully I'll grab that one.
Farewell.
Currently:
Listening: Ryan Star -Songs From The Eye Of An Elephant
Watching: Gamer (going sometime today hopefully)

Day 7 9/3/09 -Dustin Kensrue is my English Teacher!
so apparently I'm just going to be writing these a day late. Especially when I'm out on the stoop till 2:30 in the morning.
So what did I do yesterday? Well I'm glad you asked interwebs, because to tell you the truth I did nothing that interesting. This is probably where everybody stops reading, but honestly it wasn't that bad. My English class was cool. As was my American Media class like always.
English was cool, well actually odd, because my teacher reminds me far too much of Dustin Kensrue. For those of you who don't know who he is, he is the front man for Thrice, and has his own solo project. He is pretty much one of my hero's. Anyway, it wasn't exactly in looks. Though he was built similar I guess, but rather just in his mannerisms and when he talked. It was strange. He does seem like a cool guy though, I think I'll like the class.
Oh so the funniest part of yesterday was when Jared, James, and myself went to go see a midnight showing of Gamer. Only to finally get to the theater, all the way out in Lebanon I might add, and find that it wasn't a 12 AM showing but a 12 PM showing. That was annoying, but yet quite humorous at the same time.
Oh yeah I also managed to spend about 400 bones on books. Not cool.
Ok, well fellow Internet-ers, I am going to get some food and drinks for my fridge now. So I will blog with y'all later!

9/2/09 Day 6 -Job Fail Again
A day late again. Oh well.
So yeah. Nothing really happened yesterday. I tried looking for a job again, but failed. I turned in a few applications from Monday, but still nothing. Worst part of the day was when I managed to lock myself out of my dorm for about 3 hours. That was great.
Yeah, that's about all I can think of that happened yesterday. So this is a short entry.

Day 5 9/1/09 -First Day Of Classes!
Hey guys, so y'all won't be reading this until tomorrow at some point. Actually you'll be reading it today. I don't know. Point is, I'm typing this up at 12:24AM and the internet is being really gay for me and won't work. Why? I have no clue, I want to know why too! It says I'm connected, but nothing. Argh!
So lets talk about my day, shall we?
Ok, it was the first day of classes for me, so, you guessed it, thats what I'm going to write about. Since nothing else happened at all. I was so bored between classes. It will be a good thing once I get work to do and have a job, but today was pretty boring out of class. For example, I got out of CSCI almost an hour early so it was like 10 AM. My next class wasn't until 2:40 PM! I watched 1 night of Neverender and still had 2 hours to kill.
So classes, well as I mentioned before my first class was CSCI, or Computer Orientation. Absolute torture. I suppose kids in Tennessee didn't have to take Computer Apps as a Freshman in High School, but I did, and this class it the exact same thing. I mean exact. Same curriculum and everything. Only difference is they run Vista. Personally I think thats a bad idea, but hey, not my decision.
My Second Class I have a feeling is going to be awesome! Its kind of like Crockett's Music Recording class at Grayson Tech, but a lot more in depth and no studio time. It's RIM 1020 American Media And Social Institutions. Which basically means it is an overview of the History of American Media. My professor seems like a really cool guy. Let's just say he opened class by playing a few Rancid songs. It's going to be great fun in there, I think.
So the third class I had was Music Appreciation. Which is actually Intro to Music. Sounds cool right? Not so much. I mean it will be easy because I already know a basic overview of most of the material and well not to be arrogant, but I believe I have a decent ability or talent with music. Anyway, my teacher, I can't call her a professor because she looks like she's just out of college, is a bit too open minded about music. Woah, Grayson! Thats not possible! Yes. Yes my friends it is. When you start saying that random noise is music, we have a problem. See there is a term for that. Its called brown noise. No musical qualities at all. No timbre. Nothing. Also, it feels like I'm back taking a required music class in middle school at Providence. There is too much silly stuff. Also it's a three hour class, but we do get two breaks in there, so no worries.
So, uh, yeah. Thats my blog for today, or yesterday I guess. I really need to figure out what's up with this Internet thing. I have seriously spent the last three hours trying to get on. I finally had to resort to using a PC in the lab downstairs to get my Twitter fix.
Goodnight Interwebs!

8/30/09 Day 4 -Job Fail
Ok, once again I'm writing the day after. I think I may do this regularly because it's just too hard to type up a blog when I'm ready to go sleep.
So not much really happened Monday. I got my P.O. Box finally. Now I can get blockbuster movies! At College, Yeah! Oh yeah, and Tickets! You know, I can just get mail now, in college! So, yeah, that was the most productive thing I did. Yes, I went job hunting, but that just depressed me. Every place I went in to were just like "We're not hiring." Grrrrrrrr. I'm going to go look again Wednesday though because I desperately need a job.
Ok, so yeah, thats really about it for Monday.
On a side note, I want to start Vlogging. I don't know how many people will watch though, and also I don't have a video camera. Yet another reason why I need a job. So anyway, let me know if you think I should vlog, or if you just prefer reading this blog. Comment here, or on my facebook here
Or you can @ reply me on twitter here ... its just @gbergmann, but my twitter looks cool! So check it out.
Alright, well that's all I have for you Internet.
Goodbye.
Currently:
Listening: Family Force 5 -Dance Or Die (had to introduce it to some ppl)
I Am Ghost -Those We Leave Behind
Watching: Coheed & Cambria -Neverender
